Asset Management Company specializing in global fixed income investments. We provide investment advice and portfolio management of emerging market fixed income to institutional investors and family offices around the world. The firm counts on a management team with over 20 years of experience in several areas of international fixed income and in business management. However, this is a newly formed company with many things still in the making. For this reason, we are seeking to fill a position for an internship at our offices in Itaim Bibi in SP, with someone who is eager to work and learn about all areas of the business.
Main Areas: Administration & Marketing, Middle Office & Trading, Operations & Controls.
After completion of internship, candidates may apply for Trainee position and afterwards will be considered for a full-time position within the main areas mentioned above including eventual support with sales and research.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Assist with administration and daily problem solving.
Carry out digital marketing initiatives and efforts.
Accompany trading and back office functions.
Double-check investment and risk controls.
Attend Bloomberg courses for fixed income controls and research.
Improve excel controls and update company presentations. Develop advanced knowledge of excel and Bloomberg.
Projects include:
1. Create operational manual and improve databases for several departments.
2. Present and implement IT solutions to improve efficiency of daily operations.
3. Elaborate the company´s investor due diligence questionnaire.
Candidate profile:
Currently coursing the last years of undergraduate course including Administration,
Economics, Finance, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Computer Science. Native or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills (exclusive).
Computer and tech savvy, especially handy with Microsoft Office.
Demonstrates a high sense of commitment and responsibility.
Resourceful problem-solver and self-motivated researcher. Analytical capabilities and detail oriented.
